Thanks for your understanding as we try to make Titanfall a better experience for everyone. That said, we will not remove modes from Private Matches, so there will always be the option to select them for competitive and personal play. Our goal is to have a wide variety of playlists that are popular and changing. We will still rotate Pilot Hunter and CTF in for future playlists as well as adding new riffs on game types that Respawn is currently working on. We’re tracking what playlists players are choosing, and we’re going to continue to look at unpopular playlists and add new ones on both platforms. We want to make sure that not only is there compelling content in the playlists we offer, but that the experience of joining a match works well. Players trying to access these modes had overlong wait times to find other users and it was making for a poor experience.
ORIGIN OVERLAY NOT WORKING TITANFALL 2 PC
Yesterday we removed CTF and Pilot Hunter as separate playlists in the PC version of Titanfall CTF and Pilot Hunter have not been widely used modes on the PC version. Here's the relevant parts of Respawn's explanation for the decision. In other words: two months after release, they've removed the main thing I liked from a game which costs, via EA's Origin, £45. Developers Respawn Entertainment have removed the ability to play both Capture the Flag and Pilot Hunter modes on PC, except through the Variety option (which picks your mode at random) or Private Match beta (which pretty much requires that you have eleven friends all waiting to play with you).

So, have you finally managed to disable Origin In-Game Overlay? Did you check whether your occasional frame drop and crashing issues have subsided? Do let us know by simply dropping a few words in the comments section down below. When Titanfall came out back in March, I recommended it mostly on the strength of its Capture the Flag mode. If you really want to send or accept party invitations, or respond to your friend’s message, you could simply minimize the games and do that without the need of Origin In-Game Overlay. Do you really want access to these features at the cost of occasional crashes and frame drops? Well, that’s up to you to decide, but we really think you’d prefer keeping it disabled. Sure, Origin In-Game Overlay is a pretty useful feature to accept party invites, broadcast gameplay and even chat with your friends while you’re in-game, but the load that this feature has on the CPU is significant enough to hinder your gaming experience.

Now, you’ll be able to disable the Origin In-Game Overlay by simply moving the slider. If you have no clue regarding this, let’s take a look at how to turn off Origin In-Game Overlay: Disable Origin In-Game Overlay Well, if you’re one of those guys affected by this issue, we highly recommend you to disable Origin’s In-Game Overlay, in order bring down the CPU load significantly.

As a result of this, some of the games experienced frame drops and even occasional crashes which hindered the gaming experience for many. Several users have been complaining about Origin’s ridiculously high CPU usage while playing some latest games like Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, Mass Effect: Andromeda, etc. However, Origin has its fair share of downsides. Considering it’s EA’s own platform, the only way to digitally purchase the games published by EA, is through Origin. Although not quite as popular as Steam, Origin has a vast library of games that you can purchase. This platform houses almost all the games that are published by EA, in addition to several others. Origin is one of the most popular digital video-game distribution platform, developed by the hugely popular publisher, Electronic Arts.
